Raku - Coiled Form - Part 1

Service Description

This session is ideal for absolute beginners. During the first part of this 2 part workshop, you'll learn to build a medium-sized vase using the ancient method of coiling. Learn how to develop even walls and bulbous forms which lend themselves to different alternative firing styles such as raku, smoke, obvara or sagar. The second part of this workshop series will focus on the decorating and firing of your creation. Each workshop is priced at £65. Dates for Part 2 will be announced soon!
