Treat a loved one to a fun, immersive and highly rewarding workshop experience. An ideal gift for absolute beginners or anyone who wants to experience a raku-style outdoor firing.

About the workshops:

This workshop series consists of two 4 hour long sessions; Raku Part 1 and Raku Part 2.

Raku Part 1: you'll learn to build a medium-sized vase using the ancient method of coiling. Learn how to develop even walls and bulbous forms which lend themselves to different alternative firing styles such as raku, smoke, obvara or sagar.

Raku Part 2: This workshop is dedicated to preparing and firing the coil-built vase you've created during Part 1 of this workshop series. Before the firing, all participants will be given a safety induction and all Personal Protective Equipment; including FFP1-grade masks, face shields, heat resistant gloves and aprons will be provided. All participants are required to sign a risk acknowledgement and liability waiver.

Your voucher is valid for 18 months from the date of purchase.
