Level 1 - Wheel-thrown Pottery

Service Description

Please note: This session is not suitable for absolute beginners. Completion of one of our Introductory Level workshops is required before attending. In this intermediate workshop, we’ll build on the foundational skills you’ve already developed. A key focus of the session will be mastering centring – one of the most important steps in wheel-thrown pottery. During the workshop, each participant will create a dish or bowl. If you’d like to make additional pieces, these can be produced for a small fee of £2 per item. Please allow around 20 minutes at the end of the session to clean your workstation. Once complete, a member of our team will glaze your work in your chosen finish. Your glaze-fired piece will be ready for collection 4–5 weeks after your workshop.
