Level 2 - Wheel-thrown Pottery

Service Description

For this workshop you need to have attended both our Introductory and Level 1 sessions before signing up. In this workshop, we’ll build on the skills you’ve already developed and introduce exciting new methods, tools, and techniques to help you create more intricate ceramic forms. A special focus will be on turning (also known as trimming) which is a key step in refining and finishing your pottery pieces. During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to create your very own cup. If you’d like to make extra pieces, these can be added for a small fee of £2 per item. Please allow an additional 20 minutes at the end to clean and tidy your workspace. Once your pieces are finished, one of our friendly team members will glaze them in a colour of your choice. Your glaze-fired creations will be ready for collection 4–5 weeks after the session
